Kathryn Ekblad

Kathryn played the title role in the Ateh's The Girl Detective at the Connelly Theater, the Fire Girl in the Ateh's The Girl in the Flammable Skirt at Walkerspace, Lesley in the Kraine Theater's House of Yes, Alice in the Atlantic Theater's Alice in Wonderland and the lead role in Johnny Panic and the Bible of Dreams at PS122. Kathryn has also appeared as Lady Capulet and Benvolio in Shakespeare on the Hudson's Romeo and Juliet and as Orlando in the Classical Studio's production of As You Like it. Kathryn graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts where she studied at the Atlantic and the Classical Studio. Kathryn also studied at The Abbey Theater in Dublin and the experimental Theatre Wing in Amsterdam. She is proficient in unarmed stage combat and AAFD certified in Broadsword and Quarterstaff. Kathryn is a founding member of the Ateh Theater Group.
